Easter

I love Easter! I love eating Easter dinner, consisting of my favorite ham and funeral potatoes. I also love spending time with family. I love watching Isaac and Grace get so excited when they find an egg during an Easter egg hunt. I also love the dessert, because there is always a yummy dessert. Maybe it was more yummy, because I made it! I am more proud of the bow I made then the actual cake, because it took me FOREVER, to make the bow perfect! The cake was very yummy and it looked great!

Not only do I love Easter for the food and yummy desserts. I also love Easter because it is a special time to celebrate and remember Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice and resurrection. I am so thankful for what He did for me. I am so thankful that He bore the sins of the world. I am so thankful that He died and was resurrected so that we ourselves can be resurrected and return to the Father, spotless before Him because of the wonderful Atonement. I know that Jesus Christ did all of this, because He loves me. He did this because He loves everybody, good or bad. I am so grateful for this special time to remember all of what He did for me. 

D&C 45: 3-5 "3.Listen to him who is the advocate with the Father, who is pleading your cause before him-4.Saying: Father, behold the sufferings and death of him who did no sin, in whom thou wast well pleased; behold the blood of the thy son which was shed, the blood of him whom thou gavest that thyself might be glorified; 5.Wherefore, Father, spare these my brethren that believe on my name that they may come into me and have everlasting life.
