It never ends!!

Dentist, orthodontist, and oral surgeon visits seem to never end!! I have four genetically missing teeth and I have had to have two stages of braces in my life, the second one being four years! Never believe the orthodontist when they say it will only be two years. I had my braces off for maybe two years, and now we have decided to get implants. Its always fun when you have to get your wisdom teeth out at the same time. So I have had four screws in my mouth for four months now and I can't wait to get my teeth, (sounds kind of weird to say that) so I don't have to look like this anymore...

Since the implants have healed for four months, we are making plans with the dentist to get the teeth! I went in for my appointment today and we had to make impressions so that the Dr. could get a good idea of what it would look like. Well I hope they never look like this!

I thought this was pretty funny! But hopefully in two weeks I will have my teeth and I won't look weird anymore! But the orthodontist visits will not end, and neither will the dentist, I don't want to add cavities to the mix!

Sushi!

Since I got my mission call to Japan i've been "wanting" more like needing to go to sushi. Sushi has always scared me. Raw fish just isn't appealing to me. That was my worst fear of being called to an asian country, but I don't think I have too much to worry about now. Although I am sure that the sushi here is nothing compared to the sushi in Japan! But it was fun to try new things along with my mom who also had not tried sushi. She was a little more adventurous then I was. I stared at the tuna roll for a span of three minutes, but it was not as bad as I thought! It was actually pretty good!

Easter

I love Easter! I love eating Easter dinner, consisting of my favorite ham and funeral potatoes. I also love spending time with family. I love watching Isaac and Grace get so excited when they find an egg during an Easter egg hunt. I also love the dessert, because there is always a yummy dessert. Maybe it was more yummy, because I made it! I am more proud of the bow I made then the actual cake, because it took me FOREVER, to make the bow perfect! The cake was very yummy and it looked great!

Not only do I love Easter for the food and yummy desserts. I also love Easter because it is a special time to celebrate and remember Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice and resurrection. I am so thankful for what He did for me. I am so thankful that He bore the sins of the world. I am so thankful that He died and was resurrected so that we ourselves can be resurrected and return to the Father, spotless before Him because of the wonderful Atonement. I know that Jesus Christ did all of this, because He loves me. He did this because He loves everybody, good or bad. I am so grateful for this special time to remember all of what He did for me.
D&C 45: 3-5 "3.Listen to him who is the advocate with the Father, who is pleading your cause before him-4.Saying: Father, behold the sufferings and death of him who did no sin, in whom thou wast well pleased; behold the blood of the thy son which was shed, the blood of him whom thou gavest that thyself might be glorified; 5.Wherefore, Father, spare these my brethren that believe on my name that they may come into me and have everlasting life.

Called To Serve!!!

It's here!! I got my mission call! I opened it Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at about 8:00 p.m. My family and friends were there to lend there support in person and through Skype. Everybody gave their guesses! There was a lot of state side and South America guesses, and several Japan guesses also! Or you could be as adventurous as Darcy and guess Zimbabwe! I had many mixed emotions when I was about to open in. It was mostly nervousness! I was shaking really bad!

Yup! You heard it! Japan Tokyo South mission!!!!!!! It came with such a surprise!! I couldn't believe it! Heavenly Father has a sense of humor! I took two years of Japanese in high school, freshman and sophomore year, but I quit because it was really hard and I didn't really know why I took it in the first place other than my uncle speaks it. Throughout the next years though, I've had many jokes saying "yeah! you'll probably go to Japan!". Well it's true i'm going to Japan! I am very excited and anxious to serve with all my heart, might, mind, and strength to the people of Tokyo. I can't wait to invite them to come unto Jesus Christ and repentance. And to invite them to be baptized through faith in Jesus Christ. And to share my testimony to the people I teach so that it will become stronger, and I know that I will have a better knowledge and testimony of the restoration and of the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Can't wait to serve!

Pedicures!

My Mom surprised Emma, Kaitlin, and I with pedicures yesterday! I love pedicures! They're a lot of fun and very relaxing. Thanks for the pedicures Mom!

Mine are the blue, Mom's are the light purple, Kaitlin's are the dark purple, and Emma's are the red.

Wisdom Teeth

Complete with Wisdom teeth that have to be taken out, I also have to put in four implants!! I have four missing teeth, which isn't fun considering I've had to live with some kind of retainer all through my teens. But now I have implants! In four months I will have teeth that look real and no retainer! Yay! So I got my bottom wisdom teeth taken out and four implants put in all at the same time. I was considerably nervous about the post surgery. How much pain I'll be in and what I would look like and feel. It wasn't too bad after I woke up, but I was swollen to no end!! And I did have some pain, which got worse as the day continued. Each day I got more swollen and puffy, complete with headaches because of the implants putting a lot of pressure next to my sinuses. But overall I recovered quickly and all was back to normal! Of course when I get off my mission I will have to go through getting my top wisdom teeth out! I was really hoping I wouldn't have to go through it again! Once is good enough for me!
This is what I really look like

Harry Potter Marathon!

As most people know, I am obsessed with Harry Potter. More so the books than the movies but the movies are great! I also have a best friend and niece who share that obsession with me. When I was in Arizona I was deprived of Harry Potter for 4 months, so I and my niece and friend arranged for a Harry Potter Marathon after New Years. It was tons of fun!! It was complete with a Harry Potter puzzle and with our wands at the ready. These movies never get old and we quote them constantly. It was also Emma's first time watching the 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th movies! She was especially excited. She was gripping my arm pretty hard through most of them!

I love Harry Potter!!
